Went for lunch around 12noon, we were seated promptly in the main are, though there was plenty of open seats we were not asked a preference of where we would like to sit. The dining room is well laid out giving everyone their own space. We were asked if we would like drinks on arrival, but waited about 15 minutes before our orders were taken. Both the drinks and food came out quickly after ordering. The Chicken Greek Salad was amazing and full of flavour and the fish was great as well. Both dishes were well presented and portion sizes are perfect for lunch. The Elderflower Collins was pricey at $17.50, however it was a great cocktail which was delicious and well presented. We were not asked how our food was, offered 2nd drinks or dessert menus. Overall a good experience, and will definitely be back. This was my 3rd time visiting and I have had similar experiences in a large party and for breakfast.
I had the prawn & lobster tortellini today and it was delicious! Service was great, food & drinks came out quickly! I’ve been a few times but they definitely deserve 5 stars! Well done!

This venue is absolutely beautiful and has the most attentive staff. The food was lovey and the coffee was perfect. I had the raisin toast with was much thicker than I expected. Perfect Vegetarian Pasta and the best coffee. 1st time here and will be returning! Highly recommend. Tucked away from the bustle of Herries is this treasure and whilst the decor is dated, the service and food is second to none.
Food is definitely a perfection. Atmosphere is very welcoming with great hospitality and service from the staff. It was busy when i went so couldn’t expect to be 10/10 but i would definitely say that staff were super attentive and very well known of the ingredients. Big breaky was definitely worth the price. Huge indoor outdoor and alfresco dine in. Might have a slight issue with parking as the cafe is located in busy street.
Our waiter Cameron was fantastic, friendly and thoughtful, and went the extra mile to accommodate me, my sister, and my two children. It’s not often you find a restaurant that’s so kid-friendly, but they had toys, colouring-in sheets, and pens which kept the kids entertained. I ordered one serving of nuggets and chips for my kids to share since they’re little and don’t eat much. Cameron kindly brought out an extra basket so they didn’t have to share from the same one. He also helped carry the highchair out for my son, which we really appreciated. His attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back and hope to see him again! Definitely needs some praise, what an amazing worker! Also the food and drinks were fantastic! 😁
Wow … wow… wow… the food is quite simply the best.. combining flavours I had to try. Breakfast to die for Got to chat with the chefs while leaving and they are true food lovers who believe in there trade. Well done dream team !!!!
Lovely restaurant adjacent to Laurel Park. The food was delicious, coffee a bit strong but good. A very popular place for couples and groups to meet up. Because of the numbers of people, expect a fair amount of noise which becomes an issue for people with hearing issues.
